Vittorio De Scalzi was the lead-singer of the prog-band New Trolls. In this record he composed music on unreleased poems by Riccardo Mannerini, he worked with Marco Ongaro, Vittorio De Ciocco (PFM) and Corrado Tedeschi. A sort of second part of the great New Trolls album "Senza orario e senza bandiera".

Maybe I'm late but I want to present you this album. Named like a Woody Allen's movie, they propose pop soundtracks and folk stories. They are quite popular because a big telephone company (Wind) used their old song "Ghosts' Legs" for an advertising campaign. Their sound is poised between Eels and Wilko, but at the same time there're obviously Beatles influences. Annies is great and light pop and refined folk.
